It is our desire that Calvary Chapel Irvine would be a place where Christians will be instructed and inspired to know and love God. (John 17:3, Philippians 3:3-30 and Matthew 22:37)

We also desire that each person in our fellowship be built up, and equipped for serving the Lord. (Ephesians 4:11-16) We recognize The Lord's "Great Commission" to make disciples, (Matthew 28:19,20), therefore we place an emphasis on not only proclaiming the Gospel, but also Bible teaching, verse by verse, through the "whole counsel" of God's Word.

We also believe that a healthy Christian life includes an active prayer life, and we emphasize personal and corporate prayer as a vital part of our ministry in making disciples ever growing in deeper fellowship with the Lord. (Mark 14:17)
